Founder: Justine Bedocs 


Justine was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts.  She earned an Occupational Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University, in Hamden, Connecticut.  She is certified by the Board of American Occupational Therapy, Licensed by the State of Connecticut- Department of Health Services, Certified in Therapeutic Listening, and is a Member of American Occupational Therapy Association.  She has been working as a pediatric Occupational Therapist for 16 years.  Justine has worked in private practice, educational, and home based settings.  She has experience working with children of various ages with sensory integration dysfunction, fine and visual motor delays, and feeding difficulties.  She believes it is important to not only work with the child, but to also collaborate with and educate the family in order to achieve a positive therapeutic experience!  She opened Building Blocks Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services in 2007, in order to provide a place for children with special needs to receive therapy within an environment that provides a comfortable, welcoming, and homelike feel.  The therapy Justine provides focuses on not only working with the child, but also educating families and other professionals to enable the child to function to their maximum potential within their daily life.


Kristen Campbell


Kristen Campbell has over 18 years experience working as an occupational therapist.  Kristen earned her degree in occupational therapy from Quinnipiac University in 1996.   She has enjoyed working primarily in the area of pediatrics throughout her career.  Kristen also has experience working in rehab and geriatrics.  Kristen continues to further her education by attending continuing education classes that include the AOTA National conference, Annual Therapies in the Schools conference, and Annual Pediatric Symposium. 



Christin Schor 


Christin Schor is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 9 years experience working with children ages 3-16.  She is an AOTA member and three-time national AOTA conference attendee.  Christin is also a three-time attendee of the Annual Therapies in the Schools conference and 2011 Annual Pediatric Symposium attendee. Christin’s education includes a Bachelor of Education degree from Manhattan College, with a major in Exercise Science/Sports Medicine and minor in Biology; and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University. Christin’s fieldwork experience includes adaptive physical education, rehabilitation, acute care, clinic and school-based areas of practice. Christin has five years experience as a school-based occupational therapist and began working for Building Blocks Pediatric Occupational Therapy, LLC. in February 2010.


Amy Malley 


Amy is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children birth to 18 years old. Her experience ranges across healthcare settings, including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinics, and home-based therapy. Amy's areas of focus includes sensory processing, fine motor skills, visual motor delays, and feeding issues. Amy graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in Occupational Therapy, and she continues to build and develop her skills, with a specific focus in sensory integration, handwriting and feeding, through her continuing education courses.


Dawn Sutfin


Dawn has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including birth to three, private clinics, preschools and the public school system.  She is a graduate of University of Hartford.  She has over 18 years of pediatric experience.  Dawn has taken many continuing education classes with an emphasis on Sensory Integration, Autism and NDT.  She is also certified in the Therapeutic Listening Program.
