Building Blocks Pediatric Occupational Therapy is an enjoyable, welcoming, and therapeutic environment.

To treat children ages’ birth to adolescence, work with their families, and support their teams, while providing quality therapy that enables the child to meet their maximum potential within a comfortable, accommodating and fun environment.
Therapists provide services to children with motor and sensory integration delays, spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and social skill navigation issues. At Building Blocks, you will find knowledgeable and compassionate pediatric occupational therapists that use their training, knowledge, and education to specifically develop and customize a treatment plan to address your child’s needs. We strive to help your child meet their maximum potential, while increasing their confidence level in their abilities.

ABOUT US

We believe it is important to not only work with the child, but to also collaborate with and educate the family in order to achieve a positive therapeutic experience!  Since 2007, we have provided a place for children with special needs to receive therapy within an environment that provides a comfortable, welcoming, and homelike feel.

ABOUT OT

A child’s primary “occupation” is play.   We, as occupational therapists use play to develop the underlying skills needed throughout different stages of a child’s life from infancy to adolescence.  Children may also need occupational therapy to help them with enhancement of school performance.  Therapeutic treatment is customized to the need(s) of each child and specifically addresses a variety of areas.

EVALUATIONS AND SERVICES

We offer full, comprehensive evaluation using applicable assessment tools, clinical observation and parent collaboration/discussion of a variety of skill areas, identified by therapist, parent and/or any other referring clinician or professional (i.e., pediatrician, speech pathologist, teacher).  Every evaluation is child and need specific.
